You don’t know what to do with it when you wake up in the morning. When you paint you start with one stroke. When I do my hair I start with one section. Then, comes the color. Next comes the product. Lastly, the finishing touch.
Think of you hair as the canvas. Give it a shape. Is it rounded? Does it have a cut? How curly is it? What are you trying to make pop?
All these questions are hard to answer because you don’t know way you are doing with your hair (canvas) until you are probably halfway through the masterpiece (painting) and you realize that it is not what you wanted.
At least for me , I do this and it is one of the most stressful routines I go through in the morning. What helps me is just by starting fresh like a plain canvas. One of the best tools (paint brush) that I use is water! It helps to shape those curls and keeps it moist for styling.
